Wee Need to Talk was set up to bridge the gap between child and adult urology. Urology conditions can be extremely upsetting and degrading, and many feel they can’t speak up (or are too embarrassed) because of their age. They aim to support young adults (16-30) and encourage them to speak up about urology problems and end the silence.
Set up by Katie Dutton following her battle with multiple life threatening infections, she now uses her scars to help others show strength in their times of greatest need.
Katie approached us to produce a range of materials that could be used at an upcoming medical conference. With budgets tight she wanted large scale posters to catch the attention of attendees, along with some form of handout for people to take away.
We created multiple variants of branded roller banners that could be easily transported and assembled on site. We followed this with an informative tri-fold DL flyer and snappy postcards that portray sepsis victims who are rightly proud of their scars.
Wee Need to Talk has been a huge success. Gibing those who would have suffered in silence a voice. The promotional materials have shown others that they should not be conscious of their scars, but instead be proud. Since launching Katie has gone on to be recognised in the Nurse of the year awards, and continues to provide a voice for those who fins it difficult alone.
“We teamed up with Attribute off the back of a referral and within 24 hours of making contact were sat down discussing ideas. The artwork was exactly as we requested, with Craig supplying input to get the most from our ideas. Most importantly, the service was fast, easy and extremely cost effective.”
